Four listed places carry the district's history. St. Lawrence Church and St. Michael the Archangel Church are the parish anchors of a region long held by Irish and German Catholics, and the two names say plainly how the hill was settled and by whom. The Price Hill Museum keeps the local record.

What is the history of Price Hill?
Price Hill counts among the oldest suburbs of Cincinnati. Irish and German Catholic families made the slope an ethnic enclave, and the parishes they founded fixed a Catholic character on the region that has held through every later wave of arrivals. Settlement hardened into three neighbourhoods: East Price Hill, West Price Hill and Lower Price Hill.
All three remain residential.

Price Hill covers some 16 square kilometres west of central Cincinnati, with Sedamsville and Riverside below it and Westwood and South Fairmount along its northern edge.
