The basilique Saint-Denys d'Argenteuil marks the older half of the commune, and a room in the streets near it puts the Musée d'Argenteuil and the maison impressionniste on the same walk. Parc Caillebotte is close. That half suits you if the trip is about the commune itself rather than the run into Paris.
Maison Guerlain and the monument de Léonor Ferme belong to the same half. Église Sainte-Marie des Vallées is another name on the same list. The other half is the sporting one, built around Yves du Manoir Stadium, the Parc des Sports Michel Hidalgo and the CDFAS, and it runs on into Colombes, Gennevilliers and Bezons. Sannois lies along that edge.

Ancienne église Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul de Colombes and Église Sainte-Marie-Madeleine de Gennevilliers belong to that same parish country. Église Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul de Sannois and Notre-Dame-des-Missions-du-cygne d'Enghien add two more of them, each one named for its own commune.

Val-d'Oise is the department. The Métropole du Grand Paris takes in the commune, and Île-de-France frames the whole of that country.
