San Severo is not a hotel town of any size, so guesthouses and rooms in converted houses do most of the work, and a busy weekend takes them quickly. Two things decide the rest: whether the churches are the point of the visit, and whether a car needs somewhere to sit overnight. Two other options exist.
Streets near the Monastery of the Celestines and the Chiesa di San Lorenzo delle Benedettine run quieter than the cathedral core while staying inside the same walking distance of it. The Palasport Falcone and Borsellino marks the other side of that calculation, easier for a car and for an event night. Museum days argue for a central room, since the Museo dell'Alto Tavoliere and the Museo diocesano both reward one.
San Giovanni Battista stands inside the same radius. The town is compact enough that the difference between these bases is measured in minutes rather than in transfers.
