What is Shimotsuke known for?

Shimotsuke Yakushi-ji and Shimotsuke Kokubun-niji both carry the city name, and together with the Shimotsuke Fudoki-no-Oka Material Museum they make the heritage core of the place. Earlier layers survive on this ground. Shimofurudate Site is an excavated site, and Kogane Ichirizuka is a marker of a different kind.

What are the main landmarks in Shimotsuke?
