The village came first. Jeziorki was founded in the 15th century, splitting away from the village of Gramnica, which has since vanished from the map altogether. In 1951 the city of Warsaw took it in, and the old village became part of the Ursynów district, its ground held between two City Information System areas, Jeziorki Południowe and Jeziorki Północne.
