What is the history of Sielce?
The oldest records of Sielce date to 1412, when it was a small farming community outside the city. Warsaw absorbed it in 1916. The Sielce Manor House had already stood for more than a century by then, a neoclassical two-storey palace raised in the 18th century, and the parish churches followed the incorporation rather than preceding it.
