What are the main landmarks in Wierzbno?
The Fanshawe Palace, a neoclassical residence put up around 1850, is the oldest building standing in Wierzbno, and the Saint Michael the Archangel Church went up between 1950 and 1966 as the parish church. Two parks share the ground. Dreszer Park and Arcadia Park break up the apartment blocks, while the Warszawianka sports complex covers the athletic side and Our Lady of the Angels church adds a second place of worship.

What is the history of Wierzbno?
Wierzbno carries no charter year into Warsaw's record, only the Our Lady of the Angels church and the name itself. The neoclassical Fanshawe Palace, raised around 1850, predates the apartment estates by a century, and the tenements and detached houses of the eastern side mark the older grain of building that the mid- and high-rise blocks later joined. Dates are otherwise scarce.
The Saint Michael the Archangel Church was begun in 1950 and finished in 1966, and the neighbourhood later entered the registers as one of Warsaw's City Information System areas.
