The Inzai City Museum of Inba History & Folklore covers a wet afternoon, and the Chiba Prefectural Open-air Museum Boso-no-Mura is the opposite proposition, a site that wants a dry day to be worth the trip.

How do you get to Inzai?

Inzai is reached from its neighbours. Nothing on the landmark list is more than a short run from the city, and a visitor who arrives with the Chiba Prefectural Open-air Museum Boso-no-Mura or the Abiko City Museum of Birds in mind will be crossing municipal boundaries all day. Kioroshi Shell Bed is the exception, reachable without leaving Inzai.

Chiba Prefecture is thick with towns at this point, so the practical distances are short and the awkward part is that they run in several directions at once.
