Foothill's streets end at the Wasatch Range. Between that wall and about 1300 East the ground is given over to house lots, so anyone booking a bed on this side of Salt Lake City ends up on the valley floor below the bench. Hogle Zoo keeps its visitors by day.
The Sugar House Monument marks the nearest cluster of shopfronts and rooms, a short run south off the slope.
