What are the main landmarks in Ver-Assebroek?

Gentpoort survives from the old walls. The gate is one of the medieval entries to Brugge, and the ring it follows still separates the historic core from the outer wijken that Assebroek and Ver-Assebroek belong to. Churches carry most of the rest, among them Sint-Katarinakerk and the Heilige-Kruisverheffing-en-Sint-Jozefkerk.

Klooster Engelendale adds a monastic name to the same side of Brugge, while Male Castle marks the eastern approaches beyond it.
