Avenida del Gran Capitán runs along the eastern edge of Noroeste and is the reason to stay on this side. The district reaches from that avenue out to the ronda de Poniente, taking in Avenida del Brillante and Avenida Arruzafilla on the way, so a room near Gran Capitán keeps the old city within walking distance while a room out by the ronda does not. The railway line closes the bottom. Córdoba files it as one of ten.
