Osiedle Piastowskie keeps two built landmarks and two commissioned sculptures. Kościół Nawrócenia św. Pawła Apostoła stands at number 79, drawn by Jerzy Schmidt and Tadeusz Mikuła and consecrated on 28 September 1997.
A case inside holds seven crosses the security service seized from Poznań's Solidarity office on 13 December 1981 and ordered burned. The order went unobeyed. Apartamentowiec Pelikan closes the south at number 120, twelve storeys finished in 2007.

What is the history of Osiedle Piastowskie?
Osiedle Piastowskie began on the drawing board as housing unit A, the first piece of the Rataje scheme handed to Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa Osiedle Młodych in 1965. Rataje was farmland until then. The village had passed to Poznań in 1253, took Bamberg settlers after plague and the Northern War emptied it, and became a city district in 1924.
The foundation act went under the first block on 18 July 1966, and cluster A-3 stood by 1968. Żłobek Dzielnicowy nr 1 opened at number 81 in February 1969. Dom Ciesielczyków, a Bamberg farmer's house with a four-column portico, survives from that village south of the estate on ulica Rataje.
