Osiedle Kosmonautów is a cooperative estate, and rooms here sit inside blocks of flats. Trams on lines 3 and 10 work the Naramowicka edge, where the Serbska stop stands at the junction, and line 3 carries on south through Wilczak and Most Teatralny into central Poznań. Seventeen five-storey blocks make up the rest.
Lechicka, part of national road 92, closes the estate to the north. A nine-hectare pocket of single-family houses sits inside the estate, outside the housing cooperative's administration. Stay here if you want Winogrady rather than the Stary Rynek.

What is the history of Osiedle Kosmonautów?
Osiedle Kosmonautów came out of the Winogrady building programme that Poznańska Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa began in May 1968. The space race supplied the name. Blocks went up through the 1970s beside Wielkiego Października and Kraju Rad, neighbours since renamed Pod Lipami and Wichrowe Wzgórze.
Poznań's Stare Miasto district held the ground until 1990, an auxiliary unit named Osiedle Kosmonautów followed in 2001, and on 1 January 2011 it merged with Osiedle Zagroda into Osiedle Nowe Winogrady Wschód. Monday Development began the Nowych Kosmonautów towers at the Serbska corner in 2018, adding 344 flats on the plot Drewbud had held.
